Congratulations and a big thankyou to Susanna von Sydow for being our latest fundraiser. Susanna ran a 20K race in Brussels to raise money for SAGT.
She set a target of £100 and almost doubled it by raising £190! Fantastic!
Susanna’s efforts and the support of her sponsors means she has pretty much paid for a teacher in the Gambia to train for one year at The Gambia College.
The significance of this is huge as SAGT is aware of the growing desire of people in The Gambia wanting to train as teachers, but who can’t afford it. The money raised will be going towards a teacher studying for the Primary Teacher Certificate (PTC) and starting in September 2014.
So once again well done Susanna!
